I never mentioned that all sketches remain intact. I print out a copy on Borden & Ridely Bleedproof as nonrepo blue and ink over that. I can rescan it. I'm simply experimenting.

Green Dream

I have decided to take some time off this summer to work on an idea for a comic and some animated shorts I've really been itching to take to fruition. Right now, it's been a lot of subway sketches and scribbles at 2 am but now I'm trying to get it all together to make sense. A teacher of mine told me recently "anything that's actually done is worth hundreds of things thought about but never done." I need to get things done. I KNOW I need to get things done.

I got laid off from my workplace yesterday. It feels like I've graduated from school again because I learned so much. But I'm ready to get out there again... just need to prepare some stuff first. Reel. Update site. Update resume. Update this. Update that. Try to increase online presence that I couldn't otherwise have spent my time. It's all in how you look at it, and I'm hoping that this is the start of something much better.
There's an awful lot of cynicism entering the job market again especially in this economy.
